Sickness Troubles

Ugh...yesterday night I had an awful case of indisgestion. Roiling stomach and cramps, queasiness and general body weakness in general. Earlier in the day, it wasn't so bad but it got progressively worse as the day went along. Got worse after I went to Sushi King's head office in Subang Jaya with my dad and bro to collect the prize money (1000 schmackers and RM500 of vouchers!! wooo) for this newsletter naming contest. Actually, my dad came up with the idea for it (I think they chose 'Sushi Bits & Bites'). Anyways, just took a publicity photo with the MD and then went home. Darn tired too that day.

Later that night, I really felt sick. Wanted to vomit 'cuz from past experience I knew I'd feel better but just couldn't bring myself to vomit. My mum told me to drink green tea but it didn't help much. My dad gave me the family's traditional medicine (us kids call it the 'sand medicine' cuz it looks and tastes like sand but with an added pepperminty aftertaste to the 'sandyness'). Still felt rather blech-y. Then, after still feeling terrible, my mum suggested to my dad to give me vinegar (!) to drink. Did feel slightly better but not much.

Went to sleep early but woke up after about an hour and a half cuz felt really bad. Caleld for my dad who then tucked me in with prayers and hugs. It felt really good to have someone sit next to me on my bed and hold my hand. Seriously, I felt about as old as a five year old at that time. When I get sick, I feel very childish and need someone to care for me. I can't imagine what I'm gonna do if I'm living on my own and I fall sick. Horror!!
Anyways, this morning felt alot better but still had cramps throughout the day. And no, it's not that time of the month, if ya know what I mean? Hehe.
Just came back from my classmate's birthday party at Shakey's in TTDI. Pretty nice. Good food, good cake, crazy people. What more can you ask for? Got some really nice and nutty pix too =)
