Who To Pick?

My Media, Culture and Society lecturer gave a part of our assignment today. We've got to pick a person or a group (but she said it might be harder with so many) to study and apply certain theories as to why that person is like that and how culture and society affected the person's self concept.
Alright, now I bet some of you are scratching your heads. Nevermind, it's all part of sociology or studying about society. It is actually pretty interesting especially when you start to questioning why people act in a certain way and stuff.
I have yet to decide on who shall become my subject matter. Hehe. Sounds like a mad scientist in action but...

I bought myself two new VCDs from Speedy today at 1 Utama, The Cider House Rules & Farewell, My Concubine. Those two VCDs are extra treats for myself after this semester. I'm trying to motivate myself to do my assignments, study and juggle work and leisure at the same time. The other day, I went to Wondermilk at 1 Utama (c'mon, since I work there, it's easy to go buy stuff there...plus there's tons of new shops to go check out...hehe) and bought meself a pair of 'kung-fu pants' that are super comfy (very good for lounging or when I feel slightly bummish to wear to college) and this 'surprise' box of goodies inside that have a total cost of RM10. So, the VCDs and the goodies box are for when I finish this semester cuz I feel I'll have earned them by the time I get through this semester. =) Small things can make me happy.

Oh yeah, it's pretty cool that two of my cell group members are also working at 1 Utama on the same floor! One's at Morgan and the other's at Tangoo. Patricia (who's at Tangoo) passed by Ziziano (where I work) and she recognised me but I didn't at first! So embarrassing, I tell you!
