Crimson Promise

Teddy music: Shakira - Objection (Tango)

I dyed my hair on Friday. It's a shade called Crimson Promise - supposed to be a soft reddish black according to the dye pack. Well, can't really see a difference unless I stand under sunlight...heh. Oh well. But, it does have a really sweet, fruity fragrance...mmmm ;)

Chinese New Year's coming in a few more days...this Wednesday I'm off to Kuching to visit my grandpa who I've not seen in a looong time...a minimum of 3-4 years, I believe. Apparently, my cousins from Australia are there as well. Hmm, we'll see how it goes. I guess I'll be drinking my Kahlua & Kampais to keep myself "sane" if those cousins start acting up again...they're a bit like Stitch from "Lilo & Stitch" EXCEPT they're not half as cute.

Been busy making CNY cards for some friends and my grandpa. Miss messing around with arts & crafts. Heh. It was so much fun cutting up paper, glueing stuff and drawing. Somehow, arts & crafts always remind me of my childhood in Holland where it was a regular feature in my life. I don't know how creative I can be considered but it's certainly very satisfying to view something that you produced with your very own hands.

Teddy music: Jay Chou - Long Juan Feng

Here's a peek at the CNY card I created specially for my grandpa =) *teddy beams*

I wanted to depart from the typical folded cards...so I created this which is a flat (duh!) card inside a hanging envelope with a translucent window on both sides so my grandpa can read the writing and he can hang it up somewhere, if he likes. Heh. By the way, the Chinese character for luck (fu) is supposed to be the front of the card.

*Happy sighs of satisfaction*

This is one of my works I'm proud of in a way. It's quite pretty, eh? Hehehhe...seeking for approval...so bite me! =P

Teddy music: Simple Plan - Addicted

By the way, Friendster is beginning to unearth a goldmine of old friends and it's a tad scary in a way to be looking one friend's friends and to suddenly see one of your own friends buried in there!

Hehe...well, as the French say, c'est la vié!
