Ivory & Books

Teddy music: Hillsong - You Said

Somehow I feel so restless tonight. Like I told Kev on the phone, "I'm pacing up and down in my room like a caged animal!" That's never good.

As I sat here and listened to the songs, I realised that I miss playing the piano/keyboard. Sure, I'm no great pianist/keyboardist but it was always soothing and strangely satisfying in being able to hit the right notes and produce the melody. My fingers are itchy to caress the ivories again. Even for a moment. Sighs.

The books from home have arrived and are reposing in their box. I'll need to find some place to store them. Hmmm...either I'll get a small bookshelf or a giant plastic box. Any other options to suggest? Oh, and I do not like to stack my lovelies on the floor. Only newspapers, files and textbooks go on the floor. My lovelies belong on a shelf or boxes, never the floor. Never. Dya know it broke my heart when I bought a whole pile of books last year and they had nowhere to go on the shelves in my old room? Poor lovelies.

Teddy music: Hillsong [United Live] - Unify

Well, here's more pictures to tell the rest of the story. This is the story, morning glory =)

Welcome to the family!
Three new family additions: a koala bear, a wombat & a kangaroo. =)
Changing wall
[Top pic] Imagine my horror when I discovered that there was dragon picture blended into the parchment background of the poster I'd put up a couple months ago. I have a personal policy of not owning things that carry dragons on it (or that I'm aware of). I don't believe in them and also since I'm a born-again believer, dragons don't mean anything good to me.
[Bottom pic] The situation was rectified by throwing away the poster and replacing it with these funky postcards. Somehow, I reckon it looks better now. More...modern art-ish now. Hehe.

Teddy music: Tabernacle of Worship - You're A Faithful God

Boxy wonder
My second package from my parents. The box containing nine of my new lovelies. And, look, my dad really made it clear on the address to where it was sent...haha ;P
Telstra Tower view
Finally got to go up Telstra Tower. My Ad Strategy tutor took me & my classmate up to have a look. It was pretty interesting. The top pic shows you where the terrible bush fire in 2003 happened. Those hills used to be filled with trees.
Mummy & Joey
Was walking back from LCS tute and it was already dark by 6.30pm. What a surprise to see a family of kangaroos grazing on the grass as I entered the IH area. Saw a mummy kangaroo with its joey in its pouch for the first time! Woohoo! I was also about a metre away from a "teenage" kangaroo as I walked along the pathway. How cool is that? =)
Autumn UC scenes
Pictures as I waited to go to the mall. Top pic's at IH. Middle pic's at Arscott Hall. Bottom pic's at Lake Ginnenderra. Nice, hey?

Teddy music: Planetshakers - All I Want Is You

Bread Munchers
Waterfowl at Lake Ginnenderra hurrying to grab a quick bread snack that Ezrin, Winnie & I were throwing into the lake as we walked to the mall.
No evil entering here
The NowUC production team goofing it up. Aren't they cute? =)
[L-R] Kevin: Speak no evil. Dylan: Hear no evil. Kelvin: See no evil. Aren't journalists meant to be like this? Hehe...

Did you notice how Kel's the only who's more tanned and has short hair as compared to Kev & Dylan? Haha...talk about being the odd one out. ;P

There you go. All this thanks to my boredom & restlessness.

*teddy hugs*
