So we went to the mall earlier for a spot of grocery shopping. A crisp, cold night which was very refreshing to walk in.
While Anthony lounged on the bench outside Coles and Kel shopped, I wandered around inside Coles as well just to see what there was to pick up.
Of late, I have had this craving for lamb. Roast lamb, to be exact. But, lamb will do as lamb does. Meandered over to the meat aisle and looked at the lumps of raw, red meat packaged within clear, shiny clingfilm on black styrofoam trays.

I saw chicken first. Then it was pork. Moving along, I saw veal. Then the magic happened. Lamb.
Yesh, lamb.
Scanning the prices and cuts quickly, I saw lamb forequarter chops going for cheap. A mere $5.99 per kilogram. There were two trays left. What to do? I stared at it. And it worked out to be $5.35 for the two trays of lamb chops. Superb deal. Thus, those lamb chops are now nicely tucked away in the freezer and fridge with one digesting slowly in my tummy. What a lovely dinner of roast veggies & pan-fried lamb chop. Mmmmm.... ;P
I was just telling my daddy online the other day how I'd not eaten real meat (spam & tuna just doesn't cut it) for nearly a week. Mostly subsisting on frozen veggies and pasta.
So, it was a genius stroke of luck (or blessing, I'd say ;P) that I managed to get the last two trays of lamb chop going for that cheap. Ordinarily, they'd be $9.99 or something or other.

Those are Smarties for the uninformed. M&Ms doesn't usually have pink or purple coloured choccies. I heard that they had pink & white ones for Valentine's though. Missed out on that. Damn.
Sayang's gone tonight. Left on the 9.40pm flight from KLIA. Kinda miss him. Not that I didn't stop missing him and Bear. Just that, we're all really split up now. Yang, when you read this...remember to stay in contact, yeh? =)
