Dunno what to blog leh. Erm...went shopping this afternoon with my mom at Jaya Jusco Taman Maluri (I wanted to go buy a new CD wallet...my current 96 CDs wallet is gonna be filled up in no time!). Bought a new shimmery (well, not the glittery but a smooth blue sheen...like rubber satin/silk) 88 CDs wallet, a photo album, a silver box for my friend's present, a 2 CD transparent casing and some uh, girlie stuff that would be kinda hard to say without embarrassing some people. *grin* Go ahead and guess what I bought leh...hehee *Hint: It ain't the stuff girls use every month, I would say it's more of a daily thing =)*

Anyways, I really should be doing my work instead of messing around here. Hemm...

Re-Designed Blog Look

So...like the new look? As you can see, it's still under construction/tweaking but at least you can read the entries for now. =)

Anyways, I just wanna thank God for the fact that my research client has willingly agreed to fund my group's entire research project AND she said she'll try to see if she can get some free samples for our focus group! How cool is that?

Came back late from cellgroup today...nearly 1 am. Argh...got 3D class on Saturday morning at 9.30 am. Which means, SLEEP NOW!!

Brownies

Yumm...I made peanut butter topped brownies earlier this evening after dinner. Made 2 pans of it. One is for my cellgroup this Friday (I'm on refreshment duty). The other pan was extra for my family and friends.

Yesterday (or rather, Sunday afternoon), my cellgroup went for a movie outing (Sinbad) at 1 Utama. It was pretty nice...we went for a pre-dinner snack (it was only 6 pm something...not hungry yet mar!) then most of them left. A few of us (Tim, Pauline, Priscilla, Joy, Elaine, Ee Khai & myself) went to SS2 Indomie mamak to eat there =)

Linkin Park in Malaysia!

ALRIGHT!! Linkin Park IS coming to Malaysia on October 15...yeah! *pumps teddy fist in air*

Plus...I can definitely afford the tix cuz I've got enough cash stowed away...specially for the Linkin Park concert! =)

Anyways...went Mid Valley with my college friends today. They were shopping for clothes for my college's upcoming PromNite...me, I went to tag along and buy stuff for my cell group's refreshment next week (I'm on duty leh!).

Jase bought this awesome dress that looks terrific on her...and it only cost her RM79.90...I think it's a pretty good price for that dress...Sean bought himself a set of pants and shirt from U2 with a discount of 20% (one of the items was grey and the other was black...I forgot liao).

Yeh, and while Jase & I were at Carrefour shopping (OK, she wasn't...I was), we bumped into Mel's bro (the guy from Mantissa Insitute who was on the organising team for their Prom Nite earlier this year) who was working part-time as a sampling guy (meaning he gives out samples) for Nestum. It was a surprise to see him there. I didn't recognise him at first cuz he looked so mature in a shirt and slacks (it's the uniform). Looks like I really must be more alert cuz only when Jase said, "Eh! Hi!" then I realised who it was. *sheepish teddy grin*

My college friends tried to play a trick on me today during class. I'd left my handphone on top of my file before my group went up to present our research proposal. Sean & Jase were sitting in the row behind my stuff. They took my phone and wanted to switch it to 'silent' (but Jase said they weren't sure which mode was which since I'd renamed it to funny names...heh) but ended up turning it off. When they wanted to turn it back on, they couldn't cuz I'd set it to 'request PIN code'. Hehh...at least they had the sense not to go lock my SIM card by attempting to break my PIN code. =)

Anyways, I didn't realise my phone was missing until after class cuz I was busy with my research group. I did start to panic (plus I was still recovering from my panic attack last night) but I tried to think rationally and remembered seeing Sean & Jase sit behind the row. I was planning to try and find Jase to ask whether she'd taken my phone...I honestly would've cried if I still didn't know where it was for much longer. Jase later called another classmate to tell me that they had my phone and were at the mamak stalls nearby. I would've gone IF I hadn't been wearing 3-inch-high heels. Uh uh...no way, José, am I gonna walk there in those high heels. It's murder on my feet enough to have to climb the stairs several times.

Disappointment

No teddy music today

I'm pretty disappointed with myself. I saw my last semester's results and by my standards, it wasn't something to be proud of at all. My CGPA's dropped by about 0.16-0.17 from 3.86.

I can't believe how far I let myself slip.

This is awful.

I've let myself down and everyone else. How could I have done that?

Today I'm supposed to go out with one of my best high school friends, Elaine, but declined cuz I really need to stay home and rest. Last weekend I was out for 3 consecutive days.

Friday - went out with another best friend, Angeline. Nice to see her after so long. Surprised her with a slice of raspberry cheesecake when I was buying some slices for my parents (will explain later).

Saturday - went to Midvalley with another high school friend to accompany him to buy 'skater-style' jeans. Bought 2 pairs after 3 hours of searching. Met an ex-college senior by pure chance.

Sunday - went to watch 'Pirates of the Caribbean' with college friends at 1 Utama. I LURVE Johnny Depp...he was excellent in his portrayal of Cap'n Jack Sparrow...so adorably swashbuckling! *drooling & swooning*

Hey! I think I just saw a hummingbird...or either it's a tiny bird flit around my garden...oooo!

Oh yeah...yesterday after my church's youth rally, I got this craving for cake/ice cream so I sped over to TTDI's Secret Recipe and bought a slice of Oreo cheescake...mmm mmm good! Had a glass of choccy milk and fresh milk with it...slowly ate it to prolong the pleasure...yummy! *licks teddy lips*

2 Hours?

Today, just for the heck of it and since I was full of nervous energy (must be because of the big glass of milk tea I had earlier in the afternoon), I walked the circuit road at my housing area. I think it's about 4km. Took me about 2 hours to finish (plus walking a few rounds around the streets inside the housing area itself). Funny thing is, I didn't feel extremely tired but felt really good.

I just couldn't stand sitting down not moving so by the time it was 6pm I just decided to throw on my headphones, grab my keys, wallet & handphone then just go walk off the excess energy.

It really feels good to stretch my legs out. Plus, I could do with the exercise. Just hope I don't feel the strain too much tomorrow morning. =)
