Cracked Jewels
Teddy music: Lift - Amazes Me

Grey skies, soft rain, cold nights. Raindrops like jewels.
Things always happen, right?
Maybe I was wrong. For that, I'm sorry.
In any case, you won't hear from me for 2-3 weeks.
I need a break from too many thoughts.
I'm out.

Heart Strings
Teddy music: Jasemaine - There's You and Me

Everything's fine, really. Nothing to complain about. The exam papers have been doable so far. I'm thankful to God for the way things have been turning out. Studies, church, life. It's all His grace, indeed.
Still, for reasons incomprehensible, there's something that I wish I really could have now.
A hug from someone I know.
And maybe...this will go away.

Honeyed Sparkles
Teddy music: Joan Armatrading - The Weakness In Me

One of my fave songs.
I can be a biatch and bitch about something that I'm not getting but when you consider it, there's no point in doing so. Heh.
I know it seems like just about everyone around me are pairing up. Sure, it makes me wonder too.
But, I'm not interested in short-term relationships. I think I'd rather wait for that special someone to come along when God says it's right. =) So I'm waiting...sometimes a little impatiently and sometimes patiently. When that day comes, believe me, you'll know. ;P
I re-read my old journal entries a few weeks back and it made me smile & cry at the same time.
Teddy music: Dido - Stoned
I dreamed a lovely dream recently.
A honeyed dream filled with vanilla sunshine.
It came after my heart started missing again. Not that it ever stopped missing.
How can I deny that many times I wish I could see what I want to see standing outside my window?
I thank God for the little opportunities - no matter how brief they are. Precious moments that keep you going.
Well...back to the study notes. Oh, Fudgie says "hi" to Bayson! =)

Grey Skies
Teddy music: Passion 268 - I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever

So while many Australians are rejoicing over the fact that rain has finally come with hopes of curing the drought...
...a family in KL says a final goodbye to a beloved father and husband.
My dad told me last night that one of our church's elders passed away yesterday. My prayers are with the wife & daughter. I can never even try to imagine what it must be like for them. But, I have faith that God will see them through this.
Teddy music: Matt Redman - Pour My Love On You
Dear God, please watch over that family. In their time of learning to let go, please comfort them in the way that no others can. You are their shield and strength. Let Your loving presence be with them like they've never known before. Bless them, Father. Amen.
It's never easy letting someone you love go.
It's bizarre how it always seems to rain whenever someone I know passes away.

Exam Voices
Teddy music: Boyz II Men - Know What You Want

Exams begin this Friday. So millwen apologies in advance if there's nothing new on the blog.
It's June, people. Two weeks time and I'll be in Melbourne & Sydney! Woohoo... =)
My tailbone's still a little sore from the ice fall two weeks back. Bleh. Doesn't really affect me too much unless I try to pivot/lean back on my butt.
Anyway, here's some pictures from UniBar's last bar night of Semester 1 - Snow Bar Nite 2005

Teddy music: Ash - Starcrossed
And this is what I do when I'm bored now that I've got Tiger installed and Dashboard is conveniently a click or mouse movement away ;P

The computer kicked me ass many more times that I kicked it's ass. ;P
I got to hear my parents' voices for the first time in a a couple months yesterday. The only reason that happened was because the data network at IH was down over the weekend and my dad got worried not seeing me online for several days. Hmph...so that's what it is like. ;P Kidding. =)
But, it's always nicer to hear someone's voice rather than just bits and bytes on-screen. Too bad that I don't get many calls from KL. Oh well...it is pricey to call after all. And dammit, I can't use PC calling/webcamming here because it's been blocked! Which means I don't get to "call"/"see" people in KL and hear their voice. *teddy cries*
Teddy music: All Saints - Pure Shores
It's been ages since I last heard any of my friends' voices and honestly, I think I've forgotten what they sound like... =(
I guess you just can't expect too much...

Musical Recall
Teddy music: Vertical Horizon - You're A God

So Apple's recalling their batteries for 12-inch iBook/PowerBook G4s & 15-inch PowerBook G4s bought between October 2004 and May 2005. Which means...Fudgie dear is eligible and thus, the order has been placed. Don't worry, Fudgie, you'll get your brand-new battery soon! =)
Thanks to Jase for the email notice! =)
Well, finally heard it from the horse's mouth. A friend has told me the great news & now, just waiting for his testimonial to come through. Hehe. Can't wait to read about it.
Teddy music: Stereophonics - Maybe
The semester has flown by. It's already June. Five months of being in Australia. How does it feel? Great!
Diamond pricks in black velvet
Silver shadows and dark winds
Amethyst skies and
Cotton candy clouds
Ethereal musical strains
Of nature whisper in your ear
Holding hands on ice
And the world around disappears
Breathe in delicious scents
Food for the soul
Racing landscapes flash by
It's only begun
Teddy music: Goo Goo Dolls - Black Balloon (Acoustic)
Looking forward to Friday's trip with Kevin. =) Finally getting to see a bit more of Canberra...heh.
